Mr. (petit) Mort

And so, a trip to the aquarium to purchase fish food ended up in the bunny carting a new tank and another fish home. This is Mr. Mort, and I fell in love with him the moment I set eyes on him. He, gills flaring and fins fully spread, probably from agitation from my constant poking and disgusting lip-puckering in his face. But I know he's a happy fish! He gets to freak out when I let him look at Thor. He also gets to play find the worms (my little game, where he has to flip onto the leaf on the surface of the water to get to the worms :b), but Thor beats him fins down. Skinny bugger but oh, so gorgeous. Welcome Mort!

Then who is your daddy??

you know... you can't see those butterfly scales. and anyway, she's not the one doing the descaling whot. plus, if you go the ang moh way, the damned fish don't even look like what it died as, just a damned fillet. oh, i'm getting hungry.

what would be the fun in completing your thesis early?

"when i was your age writing a thesis, MS word's default lang changed to afrikaans for no reason. then the comp blew up. then the school burned down. but i still handed it in 5 mins before deadline" sounds much better than

"i handed my thesis in 4 weeks early".
