21st

So I'm turning 21.

Big deal.

So I've lived 2 decades on this physical plane.

So I've already watched R(A) movies in the cinemas.

So I've already had a more-than-fair share of heartaches, headaches, backaches, sexual escapades?

So I've played my more-than-fair share of politics that a young girl should have to go through.

So I've been there, done that.

Naw, I will NOT become one of those young people who think they know everything. I will not be world-weary, for then nothing will be fulfilling, new, fresh and exhilirating.

If anything, turning 21 has to be my chance to start anew. I'll greet every new (or marginally new) experience with a new perspective. 21-year-old me will still be me, but perhaps, a new, improved me.

There.
